1+14 Years
So, its been one year of marriage. It doesn't seem that long, but it also feels a lot longer. Since I've known Ellen for so long, there wasn't any need for time to get to know how we behave. Its still kinda odd for me to share my living space with someone since I haven't done it in a long time, but not in a bad way. Its nice to have someone who enjoys cooking for me (especially since my cooking skills are minimal and anything that takes more than 10 minutes to prepare or heat makes me bored). She's a great partner and someone that I can talk to about any subject and she's got the intellect to keep me interested in what she has to say. Add in the fact that she'll do my laundry more than I do it, she'll clean around the house more than I will, and she's turned about a quarter of the yard into flower beds and gardens (thus saving me from mowing said part of the yard) and I think I get a whole lot more out of this marriage thing than she does.
But don't let her know that.
